Tec Petaja

Mallory and Phil Wickham were married in Fallbrook, California, located an hour north of San Diego.  The misses and I took the opportunity to travel to the Golden State, and we made a long weekend out of it--eating too much, following Chelsea around on her quest for the "perfect" pair of boots, and spending time with old and new friends.  It was the perfect getaway, made even better by the beautiful wedding I was blessed to be a small part of.

Mallory and Phil's ceremony and reception took place on the grounds of the Beverly Mansion.  And though it rained all night and much of the morning, the weather cleared up for the wedding and everything went as planned.

Why is it that ever time I think of Jude I wanna sing the Beatles song? Our good friends Jonathan and Grace had their sweet baby boy yesterday and they let me come in and take a few pictures and even hold him. He is so precious and didn't make a sound. He just slept the whole time!

A couple years ago I shot their wedding and so that's where I met both of them. I just love that I've been able to be a part of 2 major events in their lives! Here's a little collage of the new man that was born at 9 pounds 8 ounces!

About a month ago Emily from OnceWed came up to Nashville to do a shoot with me. She was looking for head shots so we drove around Nashville and snapped a few pictures. It was a fun shoot and it was great getting to know her and her husband. My wife and I got to show them around the city and downtown Franklin all weekend!
